The story of a boutique nail studio that grew into a full day spa, without ever losing the artistry at its heart.
Our story
Originails Salon & Spa started with gel nail enhancements and a variety of manicures and pedicures. In 2008 we expanded to our current Hales Corners location and grew well beyond nail care into full spa treatments.
Today we offer therapeutic massage by a licensed therapist and skin treatments by licensed estheticians. Renovations added two spacious, state-of-the-art treatment rooms, a professional makeup and skin consultation area, and a quiet lounge for the ultimate spa experience.
Through it all, one thing has stayed the same: a welcoming spirit that makes you feel right at home, and the unbelievable, award-winning, hand-painted nail art we have become known for.

Melanie Zarth
Owner, Nail Artist & Certified Master Pedicurist
Melanie holds a Fine Arts degree and has hand-painted nail art since 1994. Her work is recognized locally and statewide, and it has been featured on NBC's TODAY Show. It is so precise that guests often mistake her freehand designs for decals.
As a Certified Master Pedicurist, Melanie also performs our signature Wellness Pedicure. Her eye for detail and her love of the craft set the tone for everything we do.
